Explore the city, especially its vibrant local market and the Sultan palace - a long wood house, built in the 19th century. Visit also the traditional village of Kampung Pamulung, where women weave, while the men… roll their cigarettes Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
The day is devoted to a special encounter with whale sharks, which swim in the water of Saleh bay. Transfers by night towards the small fishing village of Labuhan Jambu.Where, you will board a traditional boat in company of local fishermen, they will take you to their « bagan » (which means « spider-boat »), and set sails towards their usual spot. This operation always takes place at dawn, the precise moment when the whale sharks make their appearance.
Once the fishermen spot the sharks near a bagan, you'll gently slip into the water to approach them up close (while maintaining a respectful distance). You'll find yourself literally dancing with these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
Early in the morning, you’ll board a ferry to the destination of moyo island, which covers an area of approximately 350 km², a large part of which has been designated as a nature reserve.
In the afternoon, you’ll venture deep into the jungle to reach Mata Jitu Waterfalls, arguably the most picturesque on the island. During your stroll, you’ll meet habitants of this island like wild pigs, deer, monkeys, bats, giant lizards, and various bird species.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Early in the morning, you’ll take a speed boat and set sail to Satonda island. This volcanic island is distinguished by a crater at its center, filled with water. In fact in 1815, the eruption of Tambora volcano situated in the neighbourhood island, triggered a tsunami, causing seawater to flood the crater, which had previously been home to a freshwater crater lake. Satonda is covered in lush vegetation but features a sandy beach with a small jetty, from which a paved trail leads to the crater.
After, return to Sumbawa island and transfer towards a coffee plantation, where you’ll spend the night, in a luxury tent. If there is still enough time, you’ll visit a nearby Hinduism temple.

Early in the morning, get ready for the ascent of Mount Tambora, whose 1815 eruption is considered one of the deadliest in volcanic history. The trail winds through tropical forest, passing by Post 1 (1,080 m) and Post 2 (1,320 m), where you’ll take a break for lunch.

Around 2am, after a generous breakfast, you’ll begin the final ascent towards the crater rim of Tambora mount. As you emerge from the forest, the vegetation gradually fades, revealing an open landscape. At the first light of dawn, you’ll take in breathtaking views of the nearby coastline while making your way across black volcanic sands.
Arriving before dawn, you’ll soon realize that the summit of Mount Tambora is one of the most fascinating in the world, with an awe-inspiring crater of truly remarkable size. The highest peak is located on the western rim, and is marked by a cairn and an Indonesian flag.
Return to camp in the morning, then, short rest to gain strength to descend by the same way you’ve come to reach Top-Hill Glamping in the late afternoon.

The day is dedicated to a long yet fascinating transfer toward Bima, offering a variety of landscapes along the way. Your first stop will be at the salt fields, where you'll learn about the traditional production process. Next, you'll visit the village of Dompu, where you’ll have the chance to explore the remains of its old palace, buried under Tambora’s ashes in 1815. If you're lucky, you may even witness a traditional horse race in a small village south of Dompu.
By mid-afternoon, you’ll arrive in Bima, where you'll visit its museum.
Morning transfers to Sape harbor, where you’ll board a ferry to the destination of Labuhan Bajo.
