Arrival in Jakarta. Transfer to your hotel and rest of the day free.

Early in the morning, you take the hotel shuttle to Jakarta international airport to catch a domestic flight to Samarinda.

Welcome to Samarinda by your English-speaking guide and transfer to the small mining town of Sangatta, further north.

Early in the morning and along the Sangatta River, a motorized canoe takes you away from the city towards the Kutai National Park.

After a quick check-in at a brand new lodge, you set off to explore the surrounding jungle, to get close to wildlife and especially orangutans in total freedom.

Return to the lodge late in the morning, then, in the late afternoon, the call of the forest offers you an exceptional night experience (animals move around more at night).

Early in the morning, you cross the surrounding mangrove by motorized canoe, to approach numerous proboscis monkeys and birds, as well as… a few crocodiles.

In the afternoon, transfer to Samarinda.

Morning transfer to Samarinda airport and flight to Surabaya (East Java).

Airport pickup by your English-speaking guide and transfer to Tumpang, in the surroundings of Malang, at the foot of the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru massif.

Early in the morning, 4x4 vehicles take us to the Tengger region, where the famous Mt Bromo (2329 m) belches out its wisps, and the caldera surrounding it forms a gigantic sea of sand. During this journey, we cross the stunning forest of the Tengger-Bromo-Semeru National Park, also skirting part of the Bromo volcano's caldera ridge, before descending towards the sea of sand to reach the village of Cemorolawang (located on one of the opposite ridges). Mt Bromo is the most revered by the Hindu Tengger people who live in the region. Ascent of the Bromo volcano in the afternoon. We can thus admire its crater resembling a smoking cauldron. It is then easy to understand why the Javanese once considered this place as the entrance to purgatory.

Then you reach the summit of Mount Pananjakan (2,775m) to witness a fabulous spectacle. You witness the sunset in a lunar setting, with an unobstructed view of Mount Bromo, its sea of sand, and the Semeru volcano, both releasing thick fumaroles. Unique! Return to the hotel early in the evening.

Early in the morning, you head back in a 4x4 towards the slopes of Kawah Ijen, which you climb easily in the company of men who extract sulfur daily from the edge of the world's largest acidic lake. These true « convicts » carry nearly 80 kg of ore on their backs over approximately 15 km to the treatment plant! You then witness the weighing and various work contracts. A very powerful and striking image of your trip.

Late in the morning, transfer to Pemuteran, a small seaside resort located on the northwest coast of Bali, far from tourist crowds.

Early in the morning, you take the road to the heights of Bali. Visit along the way the Pulaki temple, located at the foot of a cliff and inhabited by a large community of monkeys. The road that turns towards the mountains is magnificent. Your destination, the small village of Belimbing, is surrounded by some of the most breathtaking terraced rice fields on the island. The afternoon is then dedicated to an extraordinary walk discovering the surrounding nature.

This morning you head towards the south slopes of Mt Batukaru (2.270m). Visit to the Luhur Batukaru Temple, which emerges in a lush green setting and where several "meru" with multiple roofs stand, some dating back to the 17th century, dedicated to the ancestors of the Tabanan dynasty and to local protective deities.

We then head towards Jatiluwih, a small village situated in the heart of the most beautiful rice fields of Bali, in the centre-west part of the island.

We then embark on a superb hike through this veritable ocean of terraced rice fields that surround us.

We visit the superb Hindu-Buddhist temple of Ulun Danau. This place is enchanting, with its immense banyan tree at the entrance and its superb gardens. One of the temples is set back on a small island, and its 11-level roof is elegantly reflected in the waters of the lake.

During the afternoon, we soak in the atmosphere of the picturesque market of Bedugul, before heading back to our hotel nearby.

Finally, you head to Ubud, the cultural capital of the Island of the Gods, and settle into your hotel.

This morning, you will be transferred to Denpasar airport for your flight to Labuan Bajo.

Upon your arrival you head directly to the port and board your private boat for a sublime cruise on the crystal-clear waters of the Komodo National Park. You are accompanied by your guide, your chef and the boat crew. You begin your cruise and sail towards Kelor Island to discover its marine depths offering sublime corals and fish of astonishing diversity.

Then you set sail towards Kalong Island, made up largely of mangroves and where thousands of bats are accustomed to taking refuge during the day. As night falls, you observe this real "black cloud" spring into action and head towards the large island of Flores, to the east, in order to feed mainly on fruit.

Finally, you head back to the port of Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival at the port, transfer to the airport and fly to Jakarta (or Bali).
