Bali welcomes you and reveals its remarkable cultural heritage, breathtaking rice terraces, paradisiacal beaches and fascinating traditions.
One of the most pristine Indonesian islands, Flores, then offers a natural environment conducive to superb hiking. These hikes take you to meet numerous tribes with millennia-old traditions. Animist practices are still in place, for example, in the Kelimutu volcano region and the Ngada villages are renowned as the most traditional on the island. Manggarai is also the most fertile region, where indigenous people once lived in vast circular houses.
You will finally end your journey in the Komodo archipelago, which offers beach landscapes worthy of the most beautiful postcards. You will also meet the famous dragon, which is perhaps one of the last survivors from the dinosaur era!

Welcome to Bali
Aéroport → Ubud
Airport pickup at Denpasar and transfer to Ubud, a town situated on the hills north of Denpasar, in a rolling landscape of verdant rice fields and ravines. Ubud is renowned for its painting school.
Despite the exponential tourist development it has experienced in recent years, the town has managed to preserve its tranquility and beauty.
The rest of the day is free.
Ubud, City of Art
Day of discovery of Ubud and its surroundings. Elegant temples and palaces with sculpted facades line the streets. During your city walk, you discover Puri Saren and the details of its wooden doors, Pura Saraswati and the fineness of its ornamentations, Pura Puseh and its splendid sculptures as well as many other museums and galleries.
Another curiosity of Ubud, slightly set back from the city center, is the monkey forest temple. The hikes and walks outside of Ubud take you to places where the view of the surroundings is breathtaking, as the rural landscapes are so well preserved.
Between Temples & Rice Fields
After breakfast, depart towards the slopes of Mount Batukaru. Visit the Luhur Batukaru Temple, which emerges in a lush green setting and where several "meru" with multiple roofs stand tall. Some of them date back to the 17th century, dedicated to the ancestors of the Tabanan dynasty and to local protective deities.
Subsequently, transfer to Jatiluwih, a small village located in the heart of Bali's most beautiful rice fields, in the central-western part of the island. You then embark on a superb walk of approximately 2 hours through this vast ocean of terraced rice fields that surround you.
Continue towards the Bedugul region to visit the famous Hindu-Buddhist temple Pura Ulun Danau. This temple, which appears to float on the waters of the lake, is one of the most famous in Bali. A sacred place surrounded by lush gardens dedicated to the Goddess Dewi Danau. You also make a brief stop at the lovely local market of Candi Kuning before returning to Ubud.
From Temple to Temple
This morning, you will discover Tegalalang Rice Terraces. Located north of Ubud, they offer stunning panoramas. Stop at Tampaksiring to visit the temples of Gunung Kawi. This site is surely the most impressive in Bali with the 9 tombs of the family of King Wungsu, carved into the cliff.
Visit to Tirta Empul Temple and its sacred pools where hundreds of Balinese come each day to purify themselves.
Continue towards Penelokan, a high-altitude village that offers a stunning view of the lake and Mount Batur volcano. You will have lunch by the Batur caldera (lunch not included) and enjoy an exceptional panorama.
Then, return to Ubud with a stop at Goa Gajah temple, better known as the Elephant Cave. Dating from the 11th century and built at the crossroads of two rivers, this temple is one of the oldest Balinese archaeological sites.
Transfer to Sanur in the late afternoon.
Rest
The morning is free to enjoy the beach. In the afternoon, you visit Pura Taman Ayu, a state temple located in Mengwi. It is one of the only temples where royal ancestral divinities are celebrated. Its peaceful gardens, its architecture with its alignment of groupers make it a place of calm and serenity.
Then you discover the Tanah Lot Temple, which means "Land of the sea" in Balinese. It stands on an islet battered by ocean waves, and is a place of pilgrimage highly prized by tourists and photographers. The Tanah Lot temple was built in the 16th century on the advice of the famous Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha to pay homage to the guardian spirits of the sea. This remarkable site benefits, moreover, from one of the most splendid sunsets on the island.
Welcome to Flores
The 3 Lakes
Very early in the morning you take the road to the summit of Mount Kelimutu to admire a breathtaking and almost unreal spectacle: the sunrise over the 3 crater lakes of 3 different colors.
Then you continue your journey towards the small town of Ende, stopping along the way at the Nduaria fruit market.
After your lunch, you continue towards Penggajawa, a stunning beach with blue pebbles, then arrive at your destination for the day: Bajawa, in the highlands.
Bajawa and its region
Early departure to Watumese (approximately 30 minutes drive), located at the foot of the magnificent Inerie volcano (inactive). A trail through the bamboo forest leads you to a village in Ngada Country.
Discovery of traditional houses with very high roofs. Continue your hiking and visit two other villages. Return to the vehicle via another trail (approximately 3h30 of hiking in total without difficulty).
Picnic near a hot spring river in Nage.
Swimming, relaxation, and return to the hotel in Bajawa.
Ruteng
Route to Aimere where you visit the traditional palm wine distillery (Arak).
Lunch in Borong and continue to Lake Ranamese. Short walk along the lake.
Route to Ruteng, located at the foot of the Ranakah volcano, which is regularly active (eruptions several times a year). Just before arriving in Ruteng, visit the incredible terraced rice fields of Mano.
Picnic lunch or restaurant meal on the way.
Cruise around Komodo
Ruteng → Kelor
In the morning you head towards the village of Cara, admire the fantastic spider web-shaped rice fields, then take the road to Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival you head directly to the port and board your private boat for a sublime cruise on the crystal-clear waters of the Komodo National Park. You are accompanied by your guide, your cook and the boat crew.
You begin your cruise and sail towards Kelor Island to discover its seabeds offering sublime corals and fish of astonishing diversity. Then you set sail towards Kalong Island, made up largely of mangroves and where thousands of bats have a habit of taking refuge during the day.
At nightfall, you therefore observe this real "black cloud" set in motion and head towards the large island of Flores, to the east, in order to feed mainly on fruit.
Komodo Dragons
After your breakfast you continue sailing towards Rinca island. The Bajo people live there in stilt houses, living exclusively from sea products. You set off on a walk to track the famous Komodo "dragons" and other deer, monkeys, buffalo and wild horses, all in a setting where the green of the savanna blends with the blue of the creeks and bays.
Upon your return to the boat you head towards Pink Beach.
Manta Rays
Early in the morning, you take advantage of the relatively cool ambient temperature for a walk on the Komodo Island, from where you can see the boat anchored in the turquoise waters of the bay.
Then you set course towards the famous "Manta Point", where Manta rays like to get "cleaned". Possibility to swim nearby (while maintaining a safe distance) and observe this "ballet" that represents the majestic dance of these impressive marine animals.
Finally, you head back to the port of Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival at the port, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Denpasar.
In Bali, welcome and transfer to Ubud.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

Passport
To enter Indonesia, your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months after your entry date and must contain at least two blank pages for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).
Tourist stay without visa
Depending on your nationality, you may be eligible for a visa exemption for tourist stays in Indonesia. Entry requirements vary by nationality and should be verified with the Indonesian embassy or consulate of your country of residence.
The authorities may also request:
an exit ticket from the territory (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay.
Formalities on arrival
Before your arrival, it is recommended to complete the online arrival declaration via the official Indonesian customs and immigration portal (e-CD, Electronic Customs Declaration).
This form allows you to transmit to the authorities certain information necessary for entry into the territory:

declaration of goods and currency carried
A confirmation QR code may be requested when passing through customs and immigration controls.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccine is mandatory to enter Indonesia, except in case of transit through a country at risk of yellow fever, in which case an international vaccination certificate may be required.
As a precaution, it is advisable to consult a doctor or vaccination center before departure. Vaccinations against hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid and rabies are commonly recommended for stays in Indonesia. Antimalarial treatment may also be recommended depending on the regions visited (particularly outside Bali and major cities).
Travel with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
In some countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to exit the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.

Entry conditions vary depending on nationality. Travelers should consult the Indonesian embassy or consulate of their country of residence for specific requirements.
