Dawn breaks over the peaks of Arjuno-Welirang, revealing a volcanic amphitheater where the earth still smokes. At 3,339 meters altitude, the silence of the heights is disturbed only by the breath of wind on steep slopes. This high-altitude trek crosses lunar landscapes and sparse forests before reaching the twin summits of the massif.
The itinerary continues toward the Tengger caldera, where Mount Bromo raises its perfect cone in the heart of a sea of black sand. This exceptional geological formation, venerated by the Tengger people for centuries, offers a breathtaking spectacle at sunrise. The villages of Cemoro Lawang and Batu City serve as a base for this exploration, witnesses to a Javanese culture preserved despite modernity.
Between high-altitude bivouacs and ancestral traditions, this climb reveals Java in its most authentic light, where telluric power still shapes the landscapes and beliefs.

Day Trek on Mount Welirang
07h00 – Meeting at the Sumber Brantas basecamp (~1 700 m) We will pick you up directly from your hotel to reach the starting point. Upon arrival at the basecamp, you will proceed with registration and participate in a complete briefing with your guide to prepare you for the climb.
08h30 – Start of the trek The climb begins gradually through verdant trails and impressive volcanic landscapes. You will pass through several rest points that allow you to admire the panoramas and catch your breath: Pos 1 (~2 056 m): first volcanic landscapes Pos 2 (~2 357 m): scattered forests and views of the valley Pos 3 (~2 570 m): altitude that begins to be felt, with breathtaking panoramas
12h30 – Arrival in the campsite area (~2 900 m) You finally reach the camp, nestled in the heart of the massif. It is time for a well-deserved break for lunch, while enjoying the spectacular view of the surrounding peaks.
13h00 – Departure towards the summits After lunch, the trek continues towards the highest points: Passage through Kembar 1, offering a first view of Welirang Final ascent towards Welirang (3 156 m), where you can admire the ridges and feel all the power of the volcano
15h00 – Return to camp After the climb, you descend leisurely back to camp to rest and enjoy the calm of the altitude.
17h00 – Sunset from Kembar 2 A magical moment to observe the golden hues reflected on the volcanic ridges and surrounding valleys, an unforgettable memory.
18h00 – Dinner and night at camp Dinner is served at the camp. Temperatures can be cold due to the high altitude, but you will sleep in a unique setting, surrounded by mountains and the silence of nature.

Ascent of Mount Arjuno and return to basecamp
03h00 – Wake-up and light breakfast Your night at the camp allowed you to rest before the final ascent. A light breakfast will give you the energy needed to start this spectacular day.
03h30 – Departure for the final ascent Under a still starry sky, you begin the climb to the summit. The fresh air and tranquility of the night create a magical atmosphere as you climb the last meters of the volcano.
06h00 – Summit of Gunung Arjuno (3 339 m) Arrival at the summit to admire the sunrise over the volcanic ridges and surrounding valleys. A unique moment where the 360° panorama rewards all your efforts. Take the opportunity to take photos and savor the calm of the altitude.
07h00 – Beginning of the descent After this exceptional moment, you begin the descent towards the camp. The path again offers magnificent views and an opportunity to observe the details of the landscape that you had barely noticed on the way up.
09h00 – Return to camp You arrive at the camp for a well-deserved breakfast and to prepare your bags before continuing the descent.
10h00 – Descent towards Sumber Brantas The trek continues through volcanic trails, forest and varied landscapes that make up all the richness of Arjuno.
12h30 – Arrival at basecamp You complete the trek at the starting point, at Sumber Brantas, where your adventure concludes. A wonderful mountain experience, between effort, spectacular landscapes and unforgettable memories. Positive elevation gain day 2: +400 m

Ascension Bromo
Early morning departure by jeep to the sand sea around Mount Bromo, then begin your ascent to this impressive crater. (If cloudy the day before for the sunset, you can ask the jeep to do the sunrise before the ascent)
After a stop at your hotel you will then be transferred by car to Surabaya airport for your return flight to Bali.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

Formalities on arrival
Before your arrival, it is recommended to complete the online arrival declaration via the official Indonesian customs and immigration portal (e-CD, Electronic Customs Declaration).
This form allows you to transmit to the authorities certain information necessary for entry into the territory:

A confirmation QR code may be requested when passing through customs and immigration controls.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccine is mandatory to enter Indonesia, except in case of transit through a country at risk of yellow fever, in which case an international vaccination certificate may be required.
As a precaution, it is advisable to consult a doctor or vaccination center before departure. Vaccinations against hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid and rabies are commonly recommended for stays in Indonesia. Antimalarial treatment may also be recommended depending on the regions visited (particularly outside Bali and major cities).
Travel with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
In some countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to exit the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
